Mark Holt – Rogers – Director Wellbeing4business Ltd
Mark has a proven history in building propositions and products that enhance performance, manage risk, improve personal wellbeing and maximize employee engagement. His specialisms include organisational wellbeing strategy, the business side of wellbeing, best practice intervention design and UK, Europe and US market knowledge of both proactive and reactive health management. Mark currently sits on the Governments Strategy Group for Health and Wellbeing.

Dr Les Smith MBChB MRCGP MFOM MIOSH MISMA CAvMed
Dr Les Smith is a Member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, an accredited specialist and consultant in occupational medicine and a Member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety. He has a background in General Practice and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. His previous positions have included Chief Medical Officer to Scottish Power Group, Medical adviser to EonUk (Powergen) and Head of Employee Health Services for the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.

He is a tutor in occupational health for Manchester, Kent, and Surrey Universities and also an approved trainer for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. His specialist expertise includes developing modern occupational health and well being strategies and programmes for client organisations. This can involve redesigning the traditional occupational health model into an organisational Health and Wellbeing management approach. This takes into account the physical, social and in particular the psychological aspects affecting staff wellbeing, productivity and performance at work. Les writes for many magazines and speaks on wellbeing across the world.

Lesley Cooper
Lesley is a specialist health management consultant with a broad business background. She has particular interest and expertise in the measurement and management of occupational stress and has considerable experience in the delivery of both large and small-scale stress audit programmes gained through close working with major UK companies – moving from measurement and analysis of the problem through to intervention.

She is a regular speaker, both in the UK and overseas, on the subjects of occupational stress and has contributed to a number of TV and Radio programmes on the subject of employee wellbeing, most recently Channel 4’s highly acclaimed documentary "Stressed Out".Lesley is co-author with the late Dr Stephen Williams of ‘Dangerous Waters – Strategies for Improving Wellbeing at Work’ and ‘Managing Workplace Stress – A Best Practice Blueprint’, both published by John Wiley and Sons.

Bernie Shrosbree

A former member of the Royal Marine’s elite Special Boat Service (SBS); a world class athlete; a specialist coach on the international stage, and most recently the man credited with shaping up James Cracknell, Ben Fogle and Ed Coats for their race to the Antarctic – this is Bernie Shrosbree, a man with 30 years experience, knowledge and wisdom in the extreme sports arena. Whether it is masterminding a training regime on a glacier 3000 metres high as real life preparation for arctic conditions, working with British International rowers or in the past coaching Olympic cyclists, Bernie has an extensive and impressive repertoire. His career is as diverse as his many achievements. Bernie created the UK’s first ever Formula 1 Human Performance Training Centre and worked with drivers such as Jensen Button, Mark Webber, Alex Wurz, Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella. He held the post of Performance Adviser for the Subaru World Rally Team including, working with Carlos Sainz and the late Colin McRae. His standing and pedigree within the world of motorsport is such that many present day teams and stars within Formula 1 and other high profile motorsport disciplines still retain his services to give themselves that extra edge to win.

Mark Howard

By adopting what Mark simply calls "Business sense", by building a mix of preventative, educative and curative solutions, he has taken a pioneering and refreshingly independent approach to developing rehabilitation and re-employment programmes in both the insurance and direct employment sectors. He has been both instrumental in bringing together employers, insurers and leading medical and vocational practitioners, and responsible for bringing a readily understandable and profitable, integrated, approach to the implementation, management and outcome measurement of rehabilitation programmes. Joan Lewis, MCIPD, MA (Law & Employment Relations)
JOAN LEWIS is a qualified legal consultant in employment law and human resource management. She is licensed by the General Council of the Bar under the BarDirect scheme in employment matters. As well as undertaking assignments for clients, Joan is a regular writer and lecturer on employment law and related occupational health and disability discrimination issues.She and a co author have written a best selling book, ‘Employment Law and Occupational Health: A Practical Handbook’ ISBN 1405149728 published by Blackwells in 2006.

Dr Louise Reyner PhD, BSc, CPsychol, AFBPsS
Louise is Research Manager at Loughborough Sleep Research Centre, where she is responsible for applied areas of sleep research. Louise is also Lecturer in Human Neuroscience in the Department of Human Sciences, at Loughborough University. In addition to her work on driver tiredness, Louise has been involved in research looking at alertness and the effects of tiredness on seafarers and the effect that aircraft noise has on the sleep patterns of local residents.

Mark Pinches

Mark qualified in all practical aspects of sport and fitness training and returned to University gaining an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science to specialise in health and fitness assessment and performance coaching completing extensive research into Corporate Wellness and personal performance. He has gained over 25 years experience in successfully applying his principles in fields ranging from Formula One Motor Racing and Professional Sport through to Heavy Manufacturing and Consultative Sales Teams. During his career, he has worked in a consulting capacity for a number of industries, including banking, information technology, and education, local government, and health care, insurance, manufacturing, sales and marketing. Mark now combines both physiological and psychological strategies to optimise performance which can be applied to a wide range of business and personal coaching scenarios. Mark has also developed a unique and motivational style as a public speaker. He has made presentations on subjects such as communication, creative thinking, goal setting and problem solving, leadership and teambuilding, personal development, health, life coaching, stress, time and change management.
