About The Challenge

With the announcement of the recent lockdown and the subsequent closing of golf clubs we have realised that for many people their club/golf not only keeps them physically fit but also provides a community and social interaction that they may not get elsewhere.

Take on the 30:30 Challenge…

What is the challenge?

The challenge is all about moving more and sitting less. Participants are encouraged to fit in physical activity each day.

The daily goal is to do 30 minutes or more of planned activity every day for 30 consecutive days.

Who pays the entry fee?

Clubs can subsidise their members entry fee’s if they wish too. Alternatively, each members can pay online.

Do you need to be fit to take part?

No level of fitness needed as the recommended intensity level is low to medium. If your people are at all unsure about whether they should exercise please advise them to consult their Doctor/Specialist.

Are there any prizes?

Yes! There are some great prizes up for grabs…

  • Everyone who completes the challenge will be entered into a raffle to win a Box of Titleist 2020 Pro V1 Golf Balls (dozen balls)
  • 1st placed individual: Under Armour Storm Proof Waterproof Golf Jacket

Should people be encouraged to buddy up?

We know from past challenges that finding an exercise buddy or team of people is the best motivation especially during a lockdown! – Please respect the government guidance on Covid-19 at all times.
