  • An introduction to looking after your mental health and maintaining wellbeing
  • Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue

MHFA Governance & Implementation Support

Fundamentally, a training course is only the first step in a journey. Any new skill learned requires implementation in the workplace, with support along the way. Rarely in our experience, Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders) rarely receive such support, nor is the organisation prepared to launch its new cohort of MHFAiders.

Before launching MHFAiders in your organisation, you will need to consider the following:

  • Governance & safety
  • Risk
  • Ongoing MHFAider support

When Launching your MHFAiders, you will have to consider the following:

  • How the role is communicated to your workforce, including outlining the limitations of the role
  • What other mental health supports are available within your workplace
  • How can people locate their local MHFAider
