10k a Day Step Challenge

The step challenge is about moving more each day to benefit physical and mental well-being.

Regular physical activity is associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety across all age groups. Exercise is essential for slowing age-related cognitive decline and for promoting well-being.

But it doesn’t need to be particularly intense for you to feel good – slower-paced activities, such as walking, can encourage social interactions and provide some level of exercise.

The challenge simply uses our WELL 121 App to track activity manually or through connecting with fitness apps/wearables. The leaderboard will reflect the number of steps recorded and is refreshed every 24 hours.

We will offer participants the option to track activity minutes and mood daily as part of the challenge.
